Sandbridge

This past week my family ventured to Sandbridge beach for a week of vacation and also to celebrate many many exciting milestones in our family! My mom is turning 50 this year and my grandparents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. Along with many many birthdays over the summer. So much happened, good and bad, that I am still processing and may need to dedicate individual postings to some bits of news i received and experienced while on the trip. Overall I want to remember the good times! My pop expressed these words of wisdom on the trip that I think apply perfectly! When I look back on this trip I hope and know I will remember it as a relaxing week with loved ones and a time that we all were vulnerable, real, and grew closer in the end.

Little kanyon learned to buggie board and we had so much fun looking for sand fiddlers or as he likes to say "sand figgers" it was just a blessing and joy to watch him at the beach and how innocent he is. Its such a simple concept, but it brings just amazing rejuvenation to my family, the beach' sand and water... It's the little things.

I am so thankful that Jeremy got to come on this trip with me! It is the first time he has been with my family for an extended amount of time and It definitely helped him understand how I grew up and what made me who I am today! I loved seeing him loving my family and exemplifying Christ in everything he did!

My sister and I grew so much closer and it was honestly the first time she and I really bonded and could communicate out of love!
